TLDR
The Faction Banners are 3D printable game pieces for Heroes and Spells. They are used to mark conquered tiles during gameplay. Each faction uses 9 banners, with 5 faction colours used across the full game. A complete 5-faction setup requires 45 Faction Banners in total. Players can download the 3D files and print their own banners, or purchase printed banners when available.
About the Faction Banners
The Faction Banners are used to show which tiles have been conquered during a game of Heroes and Spells: Realm of Thaloria.
As players battle for control of the Realm, banners are placed on conquered tiles to make board control easy to see at a glance. Each faction has its own colour, helping players quickly identify which faction controls each claimed area.
These banners are both practical and decorative, adding a stronger tabletop presence to the game while helping keep gameplay clear and organised.
How Many Banners Are Needed?
For normal gameplay, you will need:
9 x Faction Banners per faction
5 faction colours
45 Faction Banners total for a full 5-faction setup
This gives players the correct number of banners for a complete Heroes and Spells game setup.
Faction Colours Used
The Heroes and Spells display set has been printed using Bambu Lab PLA colours:
Green Faction Banners: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Bambu Green (10501)
Cyan Faction Banners: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Cyan (10603)
Maroon Faction Banners: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Maroon Red (10205)
Yellow Faction Banners: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Sunflower Yellow (10402)

3D Printing Notes
These banners are designed for FDM 3D printing and can be printed in standard PLA.
Because banners have raised details and a standing shape, they may take longer to print than flat tiles and may require careful support settings depending on printer setup and orientation. We use the Kobra X and print these files without supports.
Recommended printing method:
FDM 3D Printing
Material: PLA or similar
Suggested colours: One colour per faction
